Antique Hitty-like Wood Doll with Original Clothes
This doll appears to be quite old and was purchased from the Santa Barbara Art Museum. Her tag reads "American 1850, Crudely Carved Wooden Doll". Her dress might be silk given the way some of the threads are coming apart. The body and garments definitely show signs of wear and stains. There are no odors or odd smells. Her joints move smoothly. Arms and legs move independently.
Please look carefully at the photos and ask any questions before purchase. Other than what is on the tag I have no other information on the doll.
This doll was part of a large collection and was displayed with other Hitty dolls.
