Charming Alice M. Wainwright Polly Shorrock Wooden Doll

I was told the dark color of this dolls skin tone makes her rare, But this is not my area of expertise so please ask any questions you may have thru messages.
This is an absolutely Beautiful Polly Shorrock peg doll. She is a carved wood doll with a wonderful hand painted face, hair and shoes. She wears an adorable lace lined bonnet and vibrant brown floral dress. There is Lace trim at the neckline and sleeve edge. She also has a white apron and white top underneath the dress that It’s trimmed in lease.. She is jointed with metal rings and is Stamped on her back with “Polly Shorrock Marblehead Mass.".
She is also stamped on her back with Alice M Wainwright.
She stands Approximately 12” tall. She is in Excellent overall vintage handmade condition with a teeny scuff near her right eye. Wonderful addition to your peg doll collection...
This charming wooden doll was created by Alice M Wainwright of Marblehead, Massachusetts. She wears her original clothes and is fully marked. Clothes have a few stains mostly the hat with a little pinhole in the hat.
Standing a little over 12 inches tall, Polly has a hand-painted face. Her black eyes are framed with black lashes. Her lips have a mauve color . Polly’s black hair is styled with a large, carved wooden bun in the back and her hair is framing her face.
Polly’s limbs are attached to the torso with metal rings. Her legs have hand-painted white socks and black shoes. There is also a tiny red colored heart painted on her chest!!
Her spoon hands look to be hand-carved.
I did not try to remove her clothes but I did take pictures of the markings on her body as best as I could.
