    DOLFI 13" ADO SANTINI CARVED WOOD GIRL DOLL "VERENA" w/ ORIGINAL BOX, 1990.
    Wonderful hand-carved. fully-jointed, fully-wood doll from Dolfi of Italy. "Verena” is from a limited collection and was doll 307 out of only 2000.
    Each doll is the product of meticulous care and craftsmanship by talented designers and wood carvers in the mountain village of Ortisei, Italy. Moveable ball joints make these masterful wood carvings unique among collectible dolls.
    Verena has her original outfit and is in excellent condition. Her articulated joints work very well and make her easy to pose — she can even stand. I have included close-up images of the surface imperfections/marks. The most notable are on her forearms and calves.
