Description

Dolfi Girl is an appealing artist doll with a wooden head (wobbly), lower arms, and lower legs that are attached to a softly stuffed cloth body.  She was manufactured in Italy by the DOLFI Company of Italy circa 1986, and is "strictly limited to no more than 500 pieces."  She is incised " © Dolfi 86" on the back of her neck.

painting of her face and her "realistic hair" styled into braids.  Portions of her facial painting have lightened with age, more notably her right cheek.
Her painting and her maple wood sustain minimal wear and imperfections from age, storage, and hand-crafting, though j
ust below her right lower lip is a dig or divot that may or may not be due to the manufacturing process.
Her cloth body sustains light soil, staining, and cellar scent from age and storage.  Her DOLFI tagged dress, its attached pinafore, half slip edged in lace, and its white pantalets have been washed in Oxi Clean, but not ironed.
What a beautiful and appealing wooden artist doll she is! She still wears her two hang tags on her left wrist.
