Wonderful Wooden Head, painted features, and cloth body
These dolls are sometimes mistaken for Swiss Origin
They were created to match the character of the Kathe Kruse dolls that were
unavailable in Eastern Germany.
This doll is probably newer than some and probably made after the reunification of Germany
The Winter 2003 issue of United Federation of Doll Club's Doll News
had a very nice article about these dolls.
