    Description

    I have been making dolls for many years, but I discovered wood carving in 2021 after taking a fantastic Hitty doll carving class.  Wood carving is so much fun!  This is the first Hitty doll that I am selling.  She is 6.5 inches tall.  I hand carved her from linden wood (basswood).  I painted her using artist acrylics.  She is jointed with two dowels - one for the arms, one for the legs.  She can sit and stand.  I hand sewed her little dress, pinafore and underclothes.  All of her clothes are removeable.  I signed her back with my initials and the year.  If you have any questions, please ask!
