This sweet little doll is a bride tonight. Look at her face, so innocent and happy!
The doll is walnut, her dress is hand-sewn silk taffeta, lined.
The veil is a piece of true 19th cent. silk veil, there are small holes due to age.
Hitty is made in traditional style with pegged limbs. Her arms do not have one continuous peg through the body but are individually pegged.
This style makes it easier to change Hitty's clothes if you'd like have Hitty wear a different outfit.
Like new condition. Displayed in closed curio by adult collector. Smoke free home. Time to downsize.
