Description

Native American Indian Cherokee (?) is a 5 3/4" vintage artist wooden doll with jointed arms and legs that are attached to a wooden torso.  She is unmarked and remains a mystery as to her artist.  She is an appealing doll with an expressively painted face, braided black hair, and a well-made and detailed outfit, though its rayon apron is wrinkled.  Her outfit sustains light discoloration and staining from age and storage.  Native American Indian woman carries a wooden pole which may or may not be original to her.  Both of her legs suffer black scribbling marks which may conceal inventory numbers as she came from a museum warehouse.  Included with her is a well constructed 11" suede teepee with bead accents.  Some wear to its wooden portions and spotting to its tan suede--  A nice presentation--
